Perched on the corner of Boundary and Russell streets in Brisbane's West End is the Greek restaurant, Ouzeri. Defined by its typically Greek decor and prominent position, Ouzeri offers diners the option of indoor or outdoor dining, both with views of the cosmopolitan neighbourhood. Umbrellas and outdoor heating ensure diner comfort making the alfresco area a popular setting for lunch and dinner.

Owner and head chef, Arthur Rizos, has made sure he offers a wide choice of Greek dishes including souvlaki, Greek sausages, dips and breads, dolmades, quails and vegetarian plates. And it's not just an enormous choice of dishes that widens the eyes. The variety of imported brews will keep the serious beer drinker busy, with amber liquid hailing from all over Europe. Groups of friends out on the town for a feast would be wise to consider the hearty Greek banquet to share around the table. For diners wanting to kick back and relax over top-notch Greek fare, Ouzeri is open from midday to 9.30pm during the week and until 10.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Early risers can look forward to Ouzeri's plans to open for breakfast on weekends.
