Comedy favourite Arj Barker is back to tickle funny bones across Australia. He's travelling to major cities and regional centres throughout September, October and November, and audiences can expect new material mixed with Barker classics in his hour-long performance.

The Californian comic, known for his observational humour and dry, biting delivery, is among the cream of the comedy crop. Barker's last Australian tour and appearance at the 2006 Melbourne International Comedy Festival played to sold out crowds. Australian audiences have embraced his unique form of humour and masterful observations on Australian culture (it doesn't hurt that his Australian accent isn't too bad, either), and welcome him back year after year.

Barker's impressive credentials include a recurring role on US TV in HBO's Flight of the Conchords, as well as some guest appearances on Australian TV shows Spicks and Specks, Thank God You're Here and The Glasshouse. He is the winner of the 1997 Perrier Best Newcomer Award, a mainstay at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and co-writer of the acclaimed stage production The Marijuana-Logues. Barker has also had success with the release of his CD Issues Were Here in 2000 and the DVD Arj Barker Live in 2006.
