Electronic Security Queensland is a Brisbane based company providing alarm monitoring as one of its major services. The company provides this monitoring service from its premises in Fortitude Valley and is currently monitoring alarms from the UK, Northern Queensland to West Australia including Tasmania.

For the assurance of customers, the company has established and maintains a quality system based on the internationally recognised standard AS/NZS/ISO 9001: 1994.

The Managing Director, Nigel Longhorn has a long history of involvement in the security industry, dating back to 1980 when he was the Queensland Operations Supervisor for Wormald Security. During this time Nigel covered the Commonwealth games, wrote the first Airport Screeners exam for Wormald Security in accordance with Air Navigation Orders and then moved into Rosters and Radio Operations. He moved on to TNT (Group 4) in 1987 as Queensland Operations Manager, where he supervised security arrangements for 1988 Brisbane Expo.

Nigel formed his own company in 1991 and, seeing the need for a "Monitoring Alarms Only" Central Station, created Electronic Security Queensland, which was registered in 1994. In July 1999 Nigel was elected as the secretary of the Qld Branch of ASIAL. In 2000, he was elected chairman of ASIAL (Qld) and re-elected in 2001.
