Sima started her first business at Bay Street, in Sydney's Double Bay, where she treated and pampered many international celebrities and Australian Icons. Not long after moving to Brisbane, she opened her salon in Upper Mt Gravatt. Sima's was nominated for the top skin fitness salon in QLD.

In 1998 Sima's Beauty Centre was awarded the Best Salon of the year, and in 1999 Sima was the winner of Australia's Best Therapist Award - by Tri Research Institute.
