The famed heritage listed building is the perfect home for the Belgian Beer Café ~ Brussels, as the design and ambience is designed to reflect not only traditional 1920s Belgian beer cafes, but also that country's very relaxed character, and commitment to the theatre of beer.

The Belgian Beer Café Brussels serves more than thirty beers from the Kingdom of Belgium. The menu, designed by renowned Chef Giles Debeze, is based around the signature dish of mussels and frites - a completely new dining concept for Brisbanites with dishes certain to expand your culinary horizon.

The Belgian approach to food is best summed up in the following motto: "We eat three times a day, so we'd better try and make a feast of it every time".
The highlight of our menu and a staple of Belgian cuisine are the steaming pots of mussels, cooked in a variety of regional sauces and served with frites and creamy mayonnaise.

The Belgian people are also well known for their sweet tooth, and no visit to the Belgian Beer Café would be complete without trying one of our delicious desserts, such as the Liege waffle, served with homemade ice cream, or a selection of world famous Belgian chocolate served with espresso coffee or our selection of teas.
